Teacher Bio

I have had the lucky privilege of being in the field of Early Childhood Education for thirty years this year. I began my career in CT with my Associates Degree and finished my degree years later at UMO with a Bachelors in Child Development & Family Relations. I take great joy spending my days helping the youngest learners find their way in the world. Over my years teaching, I fell in love with the Montessori pedagogy and obtained my Primary Montessori Teaching Certificate in 2010. Where I have felt most at home is seeing children settle into their own being. Seeking to support the children further with the varying demands of the times I became a certified children's yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance in 2014.

 

I believe it is our gift to be with the children and guide them into a life long love of learning. This can only begin here in the early years. I strive to bring playful, engaging, beautifully organized, & mindful lessons to the classroom each day I walk in with the children. I look forward to each day!
