Meet the Teacher
I attended Mountain View School my 8th grade year. I went to Sumner High School and then on to the University of Maine, Augusta. I have worked for Mountain View School off and on since 2004 ish. I started as an ed tech for the life skills room and went on to become a librarian. I then worked in pre-k at Ella Lewis school before taking a decade off to be home with my children. During that time, I opened a non profit organization called the Community Closet which focused on neighbors helping neighbors by providing clothing, food, hygiene items and more for free to people from all over. In 2021, I returned to Mountain View School as a 1st grade teacher. Mountain View will always be home to me. I love this community and enjoy being a part of it.
