Biography

Hello-my name is Sherry Young and I live in Winter Harbor with my husband Scott and our dog Bella. Our son Ethan is in his third year in the Navy, and is stationed in Norfolk, VA. I have been a proud educator for the last 26 years. Most of those years I taught in the regular elementary classroom. About three years ago, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming an art educator. I have a strong passion for guiding students through the creative process and being as hands-on and excited about creating as I am. I am looking forward to seeing what the students of MVS decide to create this year!
