Licensed Clinical Social Worker

 

My name is Geromy Oakes and I am the Licensed Clinical Social Worker for RSU 24. I see children from grades pre K to five in four schools at RSU 24.  Due to the long wait lists in the community for mental health treatment my position was created so that families can access this type of care in school. My role is to see kids in a longer term capacity which would be similar to outpatient therapy that you would get from a community provider (CHCS, AMHC or a private therapist). I will be coordinating care with Jill Jeude and Shannon Mott who currently teach guidance, and see kids in a short term capacity. I will be at Mountain View Monday's and Fridays, Ella Lewis on Tuesdays, Peninsula on Wednesdays, and Cave Hill on Thursdays.
