Jeff Jeude taught fifth grade ELA and Social Studies in his hometown of Bonne Terre, Missouri before moving to Corea, Maine. He and his wife Jill have a dog and cat and they all love to
explore the beauty of Maine. Mr. Jeude has been involved with Schoodic Arts for All, the Acadia Choral Society, and Dorcas Library.

“Ian Hall has taught several grade levels ranging from 3-6 for the past eight years. Having grown up in Waldo County, Maine, Ian has a passion for being an active participant in rural communities and connecting with his neighbors. He enjoys hiking, running, reading, music, and good food and coffee. As a veteran of RSU 24, he is greatly looking forward to returning to Mountain View School to humbly serve the community once again.”

Good Day MVS Cougars!
I am happy to introduce myself, Genevieve M Billings, as your new Pre-K teacher. I can’t wait to meet you all in the coming days. Although this is my first year at MVS, it will be my 29th year in Early Childhood Education (ECE). I feel honored to be able to guide our youngest into a lifelong love of learning. I started in the field of ECE when, my now grown daughter, was just three herself. How time flies!
I hold a BS in Child Development & Family Relations, which I completed here at UMO, after teaching for many years in CT with my Associates in ECE. Yes, I am a Nutmegger, born and raised in CT, but moved here to live in SWH, when my daughter was entering 4th grade. I put down roots here, when I later bought property in Lamoine and made Maine my forever home! Met and married myself “A Mainer” and we happily share our property with chickens, and our cat Gromit.
I have made it my sole purpose to continually evolve with my education and have furthered that by most recently spending a decade teaching in an Ellsworth Montessori School, which closed with Covid. While there, I started teaching kids yoga in 2014 and became a fully Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT) with Yoga Alliance, during the Covid shut down phase of life. I am blessed to run my own kids yoga business, balabeeyoga.com With my education background and the benefits of yoga for kids, I believe it's a symbiotic relationship and truly a beautiful thing. I feel most at home observing children settle into themselves and love holding space for them as they come into that knowing!
I have many passions and love all things nature, birds most especially, art, music and I have a wanderlust to travel the world! My husband and I are often out hiking, camping, kayaking, paddle boarding, gardening or cooking wonderful whole foods at our home. I love a good bonfire, to cycle and do all things yoga, while my husband runs. In addition to my kids yoga teacher certification I hold my 200-RYT, and am presently studying for my 300 hour, to become a 500 hour RYT. In our spare time, my husband and I are off Jeepin’ during these nice summer days!

"Hi, my name is Brittany Beal. I am so happy to be back at Mountain View Elementary School. This year I will be teaching Kindergarten. I have been working in a school setting for twelve years. I have an 11 year old and a 7 year old. We love to hike, go fishing, hunting, and kayaking. I can't wait to see what this year brings."

"Hello, my name is Lisa Blanchette and I’m thrilled to be spending my 20th year of teaching in RSU 24 with the Mountain View and Cave Hill schools! I‘m a resident of Franklin who has a passion for sharing my love of music with our students as well as gardening, singing, cooking and hiking. I have two children ages 4 and 8, the oldest of which attends Mountain View school. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year!"

"I am really looking forward to working with both Cave Hill and Mountain View Schools as the school counselor. I have been working with children and adolescents for about 15 years and cannot wait to meet everyone! I have my Masters Degree in Community Counseling, and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Maine along with a National Certified Counselor. I enjoy being active and outdoors year round in our lovely state and believe that movement helps build relationships, improve focus, and relieves stress."
