"Hello-my name is Sherry Young. I live in Winter Harbor with my husband Scott and my dog Bella. I have been a proud educator for 26 years. As an elementary teacher, I have taught grades Kindergarten through fifth grade. With a passion for providing students with lots of opportunities to be creative and learn through the hands-on process, I switched to teaching art
three years ago. I love sparking the excitement, joy, and pride that the artistic process can bring.

"My name is Tara Peterson, and I will be teaching 5th grade ELA and Social Studies at Mountain View School this year. When I am not at school you can usually find me with one or more of my three children. I enjoy the forest and ocean that this area has to offer. Thrifting, reading, and little hole in the wall restaurants are some of my favorite pastimes. I am excited to be part of the Mountain View team and look forward to getting to know our community!!"
